I started with the dojo in 1995 when I was 6 years old.
Most Memorable Moment:
My most memorable moment was earning my 2nd Degree Black Belt in 2014.
Most Influential Instructor:
Renshi Guy conducted my 1st introductory lesson when I was only 6 years old. He has taught me so much. Renshi Guy has helped me reach many goals in karate and in life.
Signature Karate Move:
Giving ‘The Look’.
Biggest Struggle:
My biggest struggle was surviving the weekend of my 1st Degree Black Belt Grading.
Biggest Accomplishment:
I was so proud when I earned a spot on Canada’s National Team as a brown belt, 1 month after earning my 1st Degree Black Belt. Following that accomplishment, I earned a bronze medal at the World Championships in Dublin, Ireland.
Why Did I Join Karate?
My sister had joined and my parents wanted me to join too.
Long Term Goal:
I would love to earn my 3rd Degree Black Belt
