Team Elite at Challenge Lanaudière

Congratulations to Team Elite

for competing in Challenge Lanaudière on Saturday, February 19th.

Most of the team arrived at the hotel the night before and had a chance to enjoy the local cuisine (St. Hubert’s or A&W). With few incidents of illness and forgotten belongings, the team rested up well the night before to take part in the day-long tournament the following morning.

Congratulations to the entire team for their hard work, courage and spirit.

We were proud of all of you!

We are also proud to note that Enzo & Joshua placed 1st in their respective divisions for kata, while Adrian placed 2nd, and Jaheim, Kalli, Jordan, and Adam all placed 3rd for their kata demonstrations.

Thank you to Renshi Guy for preparing all our wonderful competitors prior to the tournament. We would also like to extend a special thank you to Sensei Marie who travelled with us to the tournament. Team Elite is grateful for her hard work and dedication.

We Are the Champions

Elite Martial Arts & Fitness Centre has the privilege of working with talented students on a daily basis. With students ranging in age from 4 years old to 65+ years old, we have programs tailored to exceed everyone’s needs.

In addition to regular classes, including karate, fitness, and kickboxing, we offer students the opportunity to compete and showcase their growth.

Last year, Elite had approximately 12 students participate in tournaments locally, nationally, and worldwide. Our team competed in 10 tournaments throughout the 2016 season and were proud to represent their dojo, their coaches, their families, and their country.

Elite Martial Arts students were proud to bring home 70 medals from the tournaments that were close to home, including 25 Gold Medals, 18 Silver Medals, and 27 Bronze Medals. At the World Championships in Ireland, our team was proud to bring home a total of 10 World Champion Medals.

Our main goal at the dojo is to build confidence and strength all while having fun. We encourage our students to be the best that they can be and to share their joy and their knowledge with others.

We would like to congratulate our students for a job well done and hope that they continue to represent us proudly in the years to come.
